Day 01 : Chandigarh - Shimla
Pick up from Railway station and drive
to Shimla for 3 hours approx. check in
at your hotel and day for rest or
explore at your own.
Day 02 : Shimla
Shimla the state capital of Himachal
Pradesh is one of the few places in
the world where an enormous amount of
history and heritage has been
distilled into such a small place.
Shimla has been blessed with all the
natural bounties, one can think of.
Dwelling on a panoramic location, the
hilly town is surrounded by green
pastures and the spectacular cool
hills.

The Ridge
The large space in the heart of town
presents excellent views of the
mountain ranges.
Lekkar Bazaar
Popular for its wood crates and
souvenirs, this is just off the Ridge.

Other Places of interests are Chadwick
Falls, 67 m high : are only really
worth visiting during or just after
the monsoons (July to October). The
falls are 7 km from Shimla and can be
reached via Summer Hill. Christ Church
& St. Michael's Cathedral
The second oldest church in northern
India, Christ Church was build between
1846 and 1857. The church is one of
the Shimla's major landmarks and is
renowned for its stained glass
windows. Indian Institute of Advanced
Study :magnificent English renaissance
strudure was the former Viceregal
Lodge. Its lawns and woodland are
added attractions.
So called the heart of Shimla, The
Mall is the most attracting thing in
the town.
The Mall is the centre of Shimla's
buzzing social life. It is a fairly
level meandering esplanade that runs
along the ridge. A fair walk through
The Mall is required to appreciate the
beauty of its shops, cafes, stores and
restraunts.
Day 03 : Shimla - Manali
After breakfast drive to Manali for
approx 6 hours. Check in at your
hotel. Day for rest and your own
activities
Day 04 : Manali
After breakfast proceed to full day
sight seeing tour of Manali.
Hidimba Devi Temple or Dhungri Temple
is one of the most important temples
in the region.
Mountaineering Institute : provides
training facilities for basic and
advance climbing both for Indian
nationals and foreigners. Institute
conducts other adventurous sports
activities like high altitude
trekking, minor mountaineering,
rock-climbing, skiing, and high
altitude rescue and relief courses.
Manu Temple
Manali is named after the sage Manu
who meditated when he came in this
area. Tibetan Temple Tibetans have a
base in Manali too. There is a large
modern Tibetan temple to the South of
the bus stand and also a small
handicrafts centre.

Vashisth Spring
Across the Beas river, about 3 km away
from Manali at an altitude of 1,982
meters (6,200 feet), are the natural
sulphur springs. The village itself is
perched on a steep hillside across the
river Beas.
Day 05 : Manali - Rhotang Pass -
Manali
Tday full day excursion visiting
Rohtang Pass (Upto Snow Line in case
Rohtang is closed due to snow fall).
Overnight at hotel.
Rahatang Pass is about 51 Kms from
Manali at the altitude of 4,111 meters
on the highway to Keylong. There is a
lake called Doshohar at the left of
the pass Rohtang pass is a crucial
link on the old trade-route and still
the gateway to trans Himalayan lahaul
as Zozilla pass is between Kashmir
valley & Ladakh.
Day 06 : Manali - Dharamshala
After breakfast drive to Dharamshala.
Overnight at hotel.
Day 07 : Dharamshala Day at Leisure
Dharamshala better known as Dalai
Lama's abode and Tibet's
Government-in-exile after the Chinese
invasion of Lhasa in October 1959. A
visit to Dharamsala would be
considered irrelevent without a peek
into the various monasteries dotting
the hillsides.
The Kangra Art Museum is located south
of Lower Dharamsala tourist office. It
has miniature paintings from the
Kangra School of Art, which prospered
in the Kangra
The Library of Tibetan Works and
Archives, housed in the Central
Administration compound at the
southern end of McLeod Ganj, has one
of the world's most comprehensive
collections of original Tibetan
manuscripts
Day 08 : Dharamshala - Dalhausie
After breakfast drive to Dalhausie fro
approx 4 hours drive, check in at your
hotel and day at leisure or explore at
your own..
Day 09 : Dalhausie
The popular hill station of Dalhousie
is located in the Chamba Valley, at
the foot of the spectacular Dhaula
Dhar range of the Himalayas. The lush
cover of vegetation that adorns the
town comprises of towering pines,
deodars, oaks, and the beautiful
rhododendron plants. Dalhousie is know
for its old churches.
Day 10 : Dalhousie – Khajjiar
Drive to Khajjiar, overnight at hotel.
Khajjiar is a small town located in
the beautiful Chamba Valley. It lies
midway between Dalhousie and Chamba
and is a perfect stopover for the
tourists willing to visit the state of
Himachal Pradesh. Fenced by the tall
Deodar trees, Khajjiar is nestled well
in the laps of Himalayas. Khajjiar is
famous for the ancient, 12th century,
golden-domed temple of Khajinag.
Day 11 : Khajjiar - Chamba
Today full day excursion visiting
Khajjiar and Chamba town. Overnight at
hotel.
Chamba originated in 6th century AD
and is one of the oldest princely
states. It is situated on the right
side of the river Ravi. Located in the
beautiful valley, surrounded by the
Shivalik ranges, Chamba also has the
district headquarters. It is famous
for its medieval temples and Chaugan,
a public promenade. The architecture
of the buildings of Chamba reflects
the artistic taste of its former
rulers. Chamba is also famous for its
local festivals.
Day 12 : Chamba / Amritsar
In time transfer to Amritsar Railway
station to board train to onward
